Meet One Of The Faces Behind Kaleidoscope Designs Inc.

I’m Jennifer Owens, co-owner of Kaleidoscope Designs Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

Leslie and I have an immense love for design and every aspect associated with it. This love, coupled with our passion for providing excellent customer service to clients led us to create Kaleidoscope Designs Inc.

With experience on our side and creativity running through our veins, we set out to create beautiful spaces for our clients. At times, when challenges come our way, Leslie falls back on his over fifteen years of experience in interior design. I rely on my ten years of experience to get a better understanding of what clients want and deliver services that exceed their expectations.

The most rewarding part of owning our own business is the control we have over every detail. Customer service always comes first for us, and we believe in being honest and transparent in our design process with clients.

As owners, we enjoy all aspects of our business, but brainstorming design ideas and layouts at the very beginning of a project is usually the most enjoyable part. On the other hand, completing a design project that everyone is happy with is one of the most satisfying aspects of our line work, and is something we continually strive to replicate.

While our underlying strength is hard work, we try to have fun while doing our job. We also strive to build relationships with the local community, suppliers, and clients and do our best to showcase local talent and products.

Back when we first started Kaleidoscope Designs Inc., we were working from our homes and serviced Ottawa and Gatineau only. Fast forward a few years, and we now have a small furniture and accessory store with the design studio in the back and service not only Ottawa and Gatineau but Carleton Place and the surrounding areas as well.

When we’re not at work, we try to make time for causes close to our hearts. We strive to raise awareness of the need for animal rescuing and shelters, and how to support your local shelter/rescue groups.

I have enjoyed sharing our story about the things which matter to us and how they influence the way we do business.
